Several plausible statements. Two or more are actually made in the passage, and each earns its own mark. Order does not matter.

Every option is about the topic. The wrong ones are usually things a reader would assume but the text never states, or real details changed slightly.

True in the world, absent from the text

The most reliable distractor here is a statement that is true in real life and never made in the passage. The question asks what the writer mentions, not what is true.

Selecting too many scores zero

Three letters where two were asked is zero for the group, even if two were right. Exactly as in the real test.

What to do next time

Treat each option as a claim to verify against a specific sentence. If you cannot point at the sentence, do not pick it.
The two answers are rarely in the same paragraph, so search the whole section the group covers.
